TINY VIBRATING STRINGS
Tiny Vibrating Strings is a performance lecture about quantum mechanics, feminism, and the subjective nature of reality. A professor builds her argument, tying together string theory, the spacetime continuum, and Einstein’s first wife. She uses all the tools she has—persuasion, personal stories, and the vulnerability of her own body, to no avail. She is not believed. Perhaps she should have worn a different outfit or more makeup. Perhaps she should speak in a more calm or convincing tone. Perhaps she should discard everything she knows and begin again with a new model, a new paradigm of understanding. Tiny Vibrating Strings is written and performed by Aurora Tabar with sound design by Kevin Plattner.
