To the End of Reckoning

Set in America not far in the future, an eclectic group find themselves held up in a sanctuary space, fearing their safety from a government encroaching on the standards of being allowed citizenship and the consequences if one does not meet this government’s standards. While they wait for what to do next, they read from Shakespeare’s ten history plays. The play examines what there is to learn from the past, what these 400 year old British plays may have to say about the political climate today, and the importance art serves in a world seemingly upside with division.
