Performed by actors at music stands, the piece explores clashing visions of leadership and loyalty.

About the Playwright:
Idris Goodwin is an award winning interdisciplinary writer, performer and educator. An alumnus of The RhinoFest, Idris’s titles include Braising, How We Got On, Hype Man: A Break Beat Play, and This is Modern Art. He’s been commissioned and or produced by The Kennedy Center, The Eugene O'Neill Conference, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Arena Stage, and The Playwrights’ Center. His storytelling prowess extends to creating original content for Nickelodeon, HBO Def Poetry, as well as the publishing world. King of the Neuroverse his first novel is forthcoming from Simon & Schuster/Atheneum. A dedicated mentor to emerging writers, Goodwin serves as Associate Professor of Dramatic Writing at Arizona State University.
